Taken for 'The Sunday Challenge': "Mushrooms/fungi"
This wasn't the image I'd intended, but once I'd finished the original shoot decided to cook and eat the props, and ended up with a better image, very tasty they were too.

Taken for 'The Sunday Challenge': "Recreate your first TSC post, with original in PiP"
Well I had to use a different church as the original one is a 330 mile round trip away, so here's the recreation using The Church of Saint Andrew in Farleigh Wallop, which is a far more reasonable 8 mile round trip away.
The original shown in the PiP was taken in October 2013, my, how time flies.

With best festive wishes to all.
(This our Xmas tree photographed out of focus for boke-ball effect)
Hope 2022 turns out to be a better year than 2021, and 2020.

Taken for 'The Sunday Challenge': "Odd"
This lost cat/bat was lurking in the undergrowth in a remote corner of the local park. An odd thing to find.

This a modern 'Spoons' pub, but named 'The Angel' after a couple of the town's, now demolished, pubs named 'The Angel' that dated back to the 1700s

At the local park flowerbeds, it's out with the old and in with the, err nothing so far, guess they'll be putting some winter planting in to replace the removed bedding plants.

Dining out Weather.
Taken for 'The Sunday Challenge': "Weather"
Wednesday was my first evening out in The Smoke since before the Covid lockdowns and my what a change in Soho, the smaller streets are now closed to vehicles and the restaurants can use them as al fresco dining areas and Wednesday was a lovely warm evening, perfect, hopefully people reclaiming these streets from cars and vans will stay.
