Kanchenjunga Rises from the Clouds
Mt Kanchenjunga (8,586m) - 'Five treasures of the Snow' viewed in the afternoon light from Sandakphu, Sikkim, India.
Kanchenjunga Above the Clouds
Kanchenjunga (8586m) viewed from Sandakphu, looking towards Sikkim. The clear air is no doubt helped by the altitude - 3630m. Just around the corner (or over a small mound) you can also get a view of Everest, but the cloud wasn't as good in that direction and it is much further away.
Best viewed large to see more detail - there's a red-robed monk in there somewhere.
Kanchenjunga in the Setting Sun
Kanchenjunga (8586m) at sunset from Sandakphu, Sikkim. This viewpoint is an ideal place to view the mountain in the setting sun, although a little chilly at 3663m. The same cloud had been raining on us earlier in the day, so we paid our respects to the mountain gods for allowing us this fabulous view.

Watching the Sunset at 4000m
A little wrist exercise trying to keep warm while admiring the sunset. Sikkim, India.
Time for tea
A welcome brew at the end of a day's walk.
The View from The Pass
Unnamed pass at around 4500m, Sikkim, India.
