Looking back to High Stile and Red Pike which we decided to save for another day when we might be able to stand up without being blown off.
Gasgale View
Looking along Gasgale from Whiteside, back to Crag Hill on the right and Hopegill Head on the left.

Over Crummock water towards Mellbreak which we were to climb in a day or two.

Finally got around to visiting Castlerigg. In a great setting but a bit damp and grey on this occasion.
