Mexico, Ruins of Main Building in Abandoned Hacienda Mucuyche

The oldest record about the “Hacienda Mucuyché” dates back to the XVIIth Century. Agriculture, livestock and the growing of henequen (an agave-like plant) were some of the activities in the hacienda. When the henequen boom faded the farm stayed closed for a long time.
Hacienda Mucuyché is also home to two cenotes (look next photos in the line)
