Anthidium manicatum male (Wool-carder bee)

A male Wool-carder Bee (Anthidium manicatum) taken in my garden, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is the best shot I have managed of these so far, they are never still, the males defend their favoured plant and territory against all other insects only allowing the females in to feed on the nectar from their chosen plant.
