Saloper light


During World War I, a number of Belgians came to the UK. Some of them were given work at the Wilkinson Jam Factory at Tiptree in Essex. As a gesture of thanks the workers prepared a series of wooden panels illustrating their flight from Belgium. This is one of these panels, and it is at the museum at Tiptree (see www.colchester-angle.com/attractions/tiptreejam.html)
