Austin, Manitoba

This was a real surprise, travelling the Trans Canada Highway all of a sudden the weather turned cold. Snow started to fall, the highway turned into ice, trucks flipped over and in ditches. Very strong wind. We found a turn off into a very small town named Austin, and we parked for the night in a parking lot at the community centre. This is what it looked like next morning on May 17.
