Die Skulptur besteht aus miteinander verschweißten, nur 12 mm dicken Stäben aus Edelstahl. Sie wurde 1989 von dem Berliner Künstler-Ehepaar Brigitte Denninghoff und Martin Matschinsky geschaffen.
