WHITE-SPOTTED JELLYFISH MOVING IN DELICATE MOVEMENTS
To make these movements, they open and close the disc-shaped body part, which can reach 50 centimeters in diameter. The bluish body dotted with white spots of this jellyfish makes it very easy to recognize. To feed, the spotted jellyfish uses its eight short and thick arms, which have several "mouths" armed with small harpoons, which serve to capture small organisms. These harpoons, nematocysts, are small capsules that contain a dart, which is fired at a prey or even an aggressor.
