Santo António was born on August 15, 1195, in Lisbon in this place, and died on June 13, 1231, in Padua. Thus, the 13th was chosen for its celebration.

As you know, here in Padua, he is greatly venerated, and his cathedral one of the powerful symbols of the city.
On June 13th of this year, no crowds of faithful from all over the world, of course.
But... his statue was flown over the city by helicopter...
