
Verín
Weir on River Tâmega.
Seen from the bridge of road N-525, as it crosses Verín. In Galician the river's name is Támega. Downstream, it enters Portugal, crossing cities like Chaves, Mondim de Basto and Amarante, before its mouth on the right bank of River Douro. On its route it has some hydroelectric dams.
