Azeda Lighthouse.

Seen from Travessa Nova de Sintra, Setúbal, this 31 metres high lighthouse stands since 1940 on top of a hill - now a residential area. There is a smaller automatic one by the riverside, close to the fishing dock. Boats and ships proceeding from the sea must enter the estuary of River Sado in such a way that the lights of both lighthouses fit in the same vertical line.

Hff and happy weekend:)
HFF and enjoy your weekend.
HFF, have a great weekend. Herb
Wish you HFF and a lovely weekend.
Locally Burnham on sea had two old lighthouses set in the town. both of which are privately owned, one now in use I believe as holiday accommodation. There is still a third beach lighthouse in use, the Low Lighthouse, built on legs to accommodate the tides.
HFF and have a good weekend
Belated HFF!
