Church Lady Funeral Food

The Sunday Challenge: The Food of the Dead.
This week's theme had me thinking of only one thing, funeral reception food. Usually there is the tiniest layer of filling in these tiny cut up (tuna in this case) sandwiches but I love them. I found these at a pot luck lunch this week but they represent what is typical at funerals and memorial services.

I only know from TV that family and friends of the deceased meet at home and bring a lot of food. Here it's customary that one meets in a restaurant after the funeral.
