Liminal Shore

The Sunday Challenge: Liminal Space
Sight and Sound: Pictures and Music
"There's a Hole in the Bucket" with Harry Belefonte and Odetta
youtu.be/ElLpKewnxp4
I chose a shore photograph as an example of liminal space. A beach can be land and lake/ocean at the same time. It is wet but it is land. The ocean gives up its power at the shoreline but also exerts its strength pushing the boundaries.
On the land we attempt to harness and channel the water for our use. The ocean or lake is resistant to that control.
Special life lives on the shore that exists nowhere else.
