Jockey of Artemision

There is drama from every angle of this wonderful bronze sculpture. I was able to check off a few items on my bucket list, including this one, in this museum.

Wow!! That's an incredible bronze!! It's very close to correct on most of its anatomy and musculature--quite a feat! Definitely an artist who worked from a skeletal base and who understood how the muscles and skin lay on top! AWESOME!! :)
