A familiar building in the photo is the brach office of the Bank of Greece, founded in 1933 and completed in 1935, currently a listed structure.

Estimated date is summer of 1954. Most of the old-style buildings in the background were destroyed or damaged in the earthquake of April 1955 and afterwards they were rebuilt in different style.
