King Fence Friday

King Fence Friday
“If there's no meaning in it,” said the King, “that saves a world of trouble, you know, as we needn't try to find any.” “Begin at the beginning,” the King said, very gravely, “and go on till you come to the end: then stop.” - Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll.

Yes indeed. Your comment reminded me of the King of Hearts, from Alice in Wonderland. I’ve added a little quote to the photo. Thanks.

Steve Bucknell club has replied to Armando Taborda club
Ha! Brilliant, Armando. Now I wonder what kind of oration I could make from such a pulpit in such a place: a much changed area that used to be a centre of heavy industry: mining, railway yards, chemical works, and now is housing estates, anonymous warehouses and strange little parks where no children seem to play.I’ll work on it.

,,,if you have no children around, don't waste your time...better to use your portable pulpit at the speaker's corner (Hyde Park), at least tourists will take some pics of you...

Steve Bucknell club has replied to Armando Taborda club
There has never been a tourist here, Armando. Some refugees only.
