This image has grown on me over the past couple of days. I keep coming back to it. This is something I find fascinating about art (whatever that is), the way that some images draw you in gradually, and hook you - as opposed to the bright, flashy attention grabbers which, like much of modern life, are instantly disposable.

The colouring and texture remind me of a Neolithic cave painting. Do you think ancient man could grasp the concept of abstract art? Maybe it’s his impression of the clouds floating by outside his cave.

The way the light catches the edge of the bubbled metal did seem to suggest trailing clouds a little. I took lots of photos of rusty metal, deleted them all apart from this one.

I'm not looking at this image for a couple of days now, as Bilathon referred to above, but I totally agree with his feeling..

Upon the title, I think the 9th Symphony is better adequate to the composition of the telluric elements.
