I see that both Rochester MN and Rochester NY are considered by many to be among the best places in the US to live. Americans must love snow, then.
After further checking I find that Rochester MN actually gets far less snow than London ON, which gets less snow than Rochester NY. Thank you. Great Lakes. Anyway, ignore previous sarcasm about Rochester MN. However, I remain climatically happy that I don't live on the southern shore of Lake Ontario or the southeastern shore of Lake Erie (namely, Buffalo). I think all this means Rochester MN is the winner here.
I would say from the buildings here it seems like downtown Rochester is much like downtown London ON.
