It looks better in the large version, but yes, ipernity does downgrade images somewhat, compared to Flickr (I tested it.) Not a big deal for most images, but makes a difference when it comes to photos where you'd like to have a sharp focus on all the details.
Having said that, I still dislike the new Flickr (downloaded then deleted all my pix there), and this is still a lovely, dreamy image ... is that part of the Sicily series?

Sarah, yes, taken in Taormina. The fencing is to keep people out of an archaeological site - Grecian or Roman. No signage to say which, but likely the former.
