Spectacular.

So I compared this one against the Flickr version, both zoomed against black, same size, there's no doubt the Flickr version is sharper, if you look at the details in the leaves, it's pretty blatant.

Having said that, I'm not going back to Flickr, just wish we could have the same quality on ipernity.

I suppose it's a function of the storage space that each site can give to any image - how much information it can retain - rather than showing the viewer less here for some reason, though perhaps speed of resolution of the image might come into play. Comparing this one is interesting from that respect - it is one of my smaller-volume uploads since there was no processing other than a bit of cropping. I'll have to do what you did and look at it on both sites.

Which I just did, and found it somewhat inconclusive since the large Flickr image is much larger than the large ipernity image on my monitor. In fact, the zoomed ipernity image for me is about the same size as the regular Flickr one. I'm sure that is a function of my monitor size, much wider than high. Ipernity tries to fit the zoomed size to my screen, and Flickr doesn't.
