They were indeed but have possibly moved since then.

I felt immediatly in love with Morroco when I first arrived in Casablanca on January 15th 1977.

I went back in this fabulous country in 1982 and for the last time in 1986 with a rented car from Paris, France.

I wish I see Morroco once more before I pass away.

We also say in Quebec " Kick la can (as a soup can ) " but with a french accent.

Ha! I can hear that. We use something similar "Kick the can down the road" to mean passing a big problem to someone else.
