Some horrible old FP3+ as an experiment. Done in FX2 after exposing in an Agfa Silette Rapid with Agnar triplet

It was a 17m roll that I was given with some darkroom equipment and had been in a garage for years. This was the only half decent shot on the strip I took. The fog was objectionable. I estimate the film was 20-30 years old. I think I said once before the Silette shutter release is a 'kludge' compared to other cameras with leaf shutters. Nearly as much shake as an SLR.
The FX2 is some of the remaining ampoules I had made up in 1961.I merely have to recalculate how much K2CO3 I need for 250ml every time I pull one out. Down to my last few. The glass is completely sealed and no air can get in.

I remember you agreeing with me there but I found, like you, that you need a cable release with an extraordinary long travel for it to work at all. Are you saying you screwed a plunger into the cable screw hole? Hadn't thought of that. Didn't work, ey? Pity.
This is a Rapid-1 so obviously I used an external auto flash I had. Shouldn't be any motion blur with that combo.

The rabid one does at least have that! I practiced with it a bit today and after a while I could work it gently. You wouldn't want to be in a hurry, however. Seems a lot of trouble but a weaker return spring might be an improvement. The dinky cassettes are kinda fun tho. I have a short attention span and 12 exposures are close to my waiting time to development.
