WB0074 WPG BEACH - A GROUP OF BATHERS
Unused early real photo postcard of kids frolicking in the water at Winnipeg Beach. The Winnipeg Beach Aquatic Club is seen in the background. Also known as the "Soldiers' Home", for a period following WWI, it was used as a convalescent hospital for returning soldiers.

WB0076 WPG BEACH - RAILWAY STREET, FACING THE LAKE
Posted May 25, 1909
Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified
A rare early view of Winnipeg Beach. Part of a set of cards from an unknown Publisher. Cards in the set have a "pinkish" tint, Identical font used in the titles, and low pixelation - making the images somewhat less than crisp. This one was sent to a Mr. E. P. Brooks at Louise Bridge, Manitoba.

WB0080 WPG BEACH - EMPRESS HOTEL
POSTCARD

Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified
Notation: This is an odd postcard. I thought it was a real photo when I bought it (online), but it is a black & white lithograph. Nevertheless, it shows a view of the Empress Hotel that I have not seen.
On the reverse nothing more is printed than POST CARD and a verical line up the middle.
