Typical for bushfires is the sometimes weird way part of an affected area will be completely burnt, while another part (such as to the left side of the road) has seemingly intact leaves on trees and bushes, conpletely wilted by the radiant heat, and areas next to them (such as to the right of the road) appear unaffected.
