Erinnert mich an Südfrankreich. In der Provence haben wir auch sehr viele in kleineren Orten gesehen. Die sind zum Teil auch noch in Betrieb.

Etwas ähnliches gab es bei mir auch, von der 60 en Jahren. Ich glaube es is noch da, aber wird nicht mehr gebraucht. Sofort danach haben alle die Waschmaschine gekauft :-)
