Das Hübner-Haus war Hamburgs erstes Kontorhaus aus Stahlbeton. Eingangsbereich, Pförtnerloge und Treppenhaus mit ihrem Jugendstildekor sind weitgehend original erhalten.

Hübner-Haus was Hamburg's first office building made with reinforced concrete. The entrance, porter's lodge and staircase are maintained in their original state with Art Nouveau elements.

Such a lovely series Gudrun. The main image is perfectly exposed and full of beautiful fine detail. I really like the tile work, both on the floor and walls.

The images in the PiPs are fascinating. I especially like the one with the desk lamp, which is also perfectly exposed. A timeless image!

Oh, I would adore that. It reminds me of some of the older buildings in Seattle when I worked there back in the 70s. It's so enjoyable to see the beautiful workmanship and all the time, effort and love that was put into their surroundings.
