it's really cool how the dome and the masts seem to fit so naturally in this landscape! I also like the beautiful blue sky...........which goes nicely with the snow.

I find my eye is drawn to the curvy trails running downhill in the snow, but I can't decide whether they are natural features or man-made?

Thank you, Keith! Most of the technical stuff up there probably is NATO property;-) I guess the trails are man made only I'm not sure whether they are made by skiers or snow scooters....

So würde es aussehen, wenn ich auf Ski einen Huckel runter brettere, am Ende würde dann ein Häufchen Elend liegen :-))

OHHHHHH!!! What a gorgeous, pristine snowy view! So pretty and soft looking. The bright blue sky makes it all the more lovely. The pair of ski tracks is wonderful and provides the scale too. Fantastic!

First tracks! They look like snowboard tracks--are snowboards popular in Europe? A good half of the people at a North American "ski" resort these days are snowboarders.

Many thanks, Steve! You are right, the tracks could be made by snowboards. They are getting popular in the Alps but I don't know about Norway. In the far North it's mainly skiing and above all snowscooters.
