BLUNA

BLUNA
Luzzus are tradional brightly painted wooden boats with a double-ended hull. They have Horus-/Osiris-eyes (see 2nd note) to ward off bad luck and have been used on Malta since Phoenician times.

Luzzus sind bunt bemalte Holzboote mit doppelendigem Rumpf. Sie haben Horus- /Osiris-Augen zum Schutz der Fischer (siehe 2.PiP) und werden seit Zeiten der Phönizier auf Malta benutzt.
