Hamarsrett (Sheep pen)

A circular sheep pen on Vatnsnes peninsula looking west over Miðfjörður (Húnaflói).When the sheep are gathered in autumn they are sorted by owner into the "spokes" of the pen.

Herzlichen Dank, Udo! Dabei waren es ganz irdische isländische Bauern-Wikingergene gemischt mit geraubten irischen/schottischen Frauen (die mitochondrische DNA der Isländer ist überwiegend keltisch;-)

Danke, Dany! Das Archäologische ist auf der anderen Seite der Halbinsel- ein Wikinger-Fort (bzw. die Reste davon...). Ich fliege in einer Woche für 8 Tage nach Malta.

Der Wetterbericht sieht gur aus- minimal 12 Grad, maximal 21 Grad und fast nur Sonne:-) Alaska eher nicht, da müsste ich in die USA einreisen;-) Island wäre aber auch gut-LOL
