Kehrwiederturm ist the only surviving tower of Hildesheim's medieval city fortifications. Legend has it that the tower's bell once helped a noble girl lost in the woods to find back to town.

Und ein ortskundiger Führer hat euch zum richtigen Standort gebracht. Bei meinem Kurzbesuch im Sommer '14 hätte ich eine solche Anleitung brauchen können. So ging ich nur immer der Nase nach und stand dann ziemlich dicht vor diesem Turm.

Aber das ist ein richtig heimeliges Stadtviertel -überhaupt hat mir Hildesheim gut gefallen.

Großen Dank, Volker! Vom Kehrwiederwall aus war der Turm genau im richtigen Licht- das haben Maik und Uwe perfekt geplant! Natürlich hat die Zeit nicht für alles gereicht, das kommt beim nächsten Mal dran:-)
