DAbei fällt mir grade ein. 1. Du kannst hier nicht ohne weiteres Bilder herunterladen. 2. Über den Pfeil rechts vom Bild und weitere Optionen kann man auf alle möglichen Auflösungen zugreifen. Sehr nützlich.

Ups, die Exifs sind hier sehr viel ausführlicher als bei PA! Dass das Herunterladen nicht ganz so einfach geht, ist gut, schützt aber natürlich nur vor den doofen Klauern (von denen es genügend gibt).

Thanks a lot, rdhinmn! This southwestern corner of Bolivia is one of my favourite landscapes- it (literally) takes your breath away.

We were in Chile last year, but mostly Patagonia, so did not get to see any of the Atacama. I'd love to go back soon and see some of the Northern part, or perhaps the part of Bolivia you recommend.

Northern Chile (Atacama) and SW Bolivia can be easily combined, after all the Bolivian border is very near San Pedro de Atacama, one of the the main touristic destinations. A popular route is flying to Calama, then travel to San Pedro, spending a few days there to see the sights and to get acclimatized and then on to Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni etc. Then either back to Chile via Lauca National Park and flying from Arica or on to Peru and see Machu Picchu;-)
There must be many tour companies offering these itinaries...

The colours of the 'sand' are very striking. Gorgeous!
