Belle lumière !!!

A marvel, full of atmosphere, narrative and fascinating detail. I love the shadows watching from the shadow doorway. I love the look knowing look of the woman in the portrait on the wall, who seems to look at us as we look at the dancers in the picture. The dancers are heartbreaking, so vivid in their delicate, sensual balance and concentration. And when we look it's impossible not to imagine the feeling of bare feet on the floor, cool in shadow, warm in sun. Such a rich image. A very fine photograph, in my opinion.
