There was too much modern mining activity around these ruins to camp, so we backed out and crossed the Clayton Valley playa to the northwest.

Typical hard luck camp spot. Took a dirt road until it expires around a bend and there you go.

Took another dirt road north towards Tonopah.

Passed through the Klondike, NV ghost town site.

Not much here but a dangerous open pit mine and some colored glass.

Retraced our way back to HWY 6 and HWY 95 junction and went north to Columbus Salt Marsh. Here someone has apparently excavated a deep spring.
