I'm humbled as I look right up at the massive Sierra divide. On the other side this drops down to Owens Valley. We climb one more ledge and then finally see Crabtree Pass. The fact that I didn't take a head on picture of it is a sign of the stress I was experiencing. It was a tough pass, harder than all of these ledges, and we fortunately picked the right path because the other one would have played out on a cliff rather than allow you to pass over.
