Saline Valley 21
Tried to get up to a Canyon in the Inyos to camp, but the roads up the fans were really rough. I was shooting for Beveridge Canyon but I think this is McElvoy Canyon. We plopped down on a reasonably flat patch of hard dirt, where sandy winds from the dunes kicked up, and I was devoured by some biting flies. Not all camp sites are winners.
