Erstmals sah ich an diesem Sonntagmorgen einen Vogel bei den grossen Nistkästen an der Scheune im Moos. Früher lebten dort Schleiereulen, die von einem älteren Vogelfreund regelmässig mit Mäusen (extra dafür gezüchtet) gefüttert wurden. Schleiereulen sah ich jedoch nie, weil ich jeweils zur falschen Tageszeit dort vorbeikam.

What a gorgeous bird!! In the US I have seen this bird once, the species was the American Kestral en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kestrel

I saw this bird hunting on the wind and then it landed in a tree nearby and I got a not-so-great picture of it! Happy to get it though :)

I wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for identifying my butterfly, the "Blue Moon Butterfly". I really appreciate the help and will put some other pictures in the Ask an Expert group for help!
