Tate Liverpool, John Piper Exhibition


This is 'Nursery Frieze' by John Egerton Christmas Piper (1903-1992) - An exceptional landscape and architectural artist,set designer,stained glass designer and printmaker. The Tate exhibition was a great excuse for a day out in Liverpool.
John Piper (along with Patrick Reyntiens) also designed the Trinity stained glass in the tower of 'Paddy's Wigwam' (Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral)
