Very elegant looking and lovely colours! In the Channel Islands they call this stinking onion, it often grows together with bluebells and red campion;-)

Thanks Gudrun. You're right the colour combination does give it an elegant look. - its classed as an invasive species in the U.K. - its an offence to plant it or allow it to spread in the wild,(but O.K. in a garden).
