To lighten my camera bag I had a Nikon 28-80mm kit lens made in vast numbers during the last days of consumer film cameras. It is cheaply built and flimsy by design yet the image quality can be a surprise. I guess that if it had to be capable of recording images on film, it was surely up to an undemanding 12MP digital sensor. All the images in this album were made using that lens on a Nikon D700.
