The Radić Pavilion Is Closed
Art is at its zenith when it is useful as well as beautiful. The Radić Pavilion in the Oudolf garden at Hauser & Wirth in Somerset is an amazing and sublime structure. It must be well anchored to stay put in the gales of February, 2020.
Nikon D40 with a Tamron 35mm f/1.8 lens. Field of view equivalent to a 50mm lens on a full frame camera.

Radić Pavilion - 23 October, 2018 (6)
I have admired the Radić Pavilion from the moment I first saw it. As a subject for a photographer the options seem limitless. I am moving beyond the detail and seeing the shapes. It seems simultaneously soft and stark.
Photographed with a Nikon D700 and Nikkor 20mm f/3.5 AI-S lens.

Inside the Radić Pavilion
Via an adapter, this picture was made with a Nikon lens on a Canon EOS camera. Sometimes I do seemingly perverse things like this to reinvigorate myself.

Radić Pavilion (Paintbrush Edit)
This is a tiny file after being cropped and adjusted in two, possibly three, applications. I like the result but the destruction of data was too great.
