Nikon D700 + AF Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8 lens. Dim lighting, hence 6400 ISO and f/2.8 aperture. Lens at 70mm, shutter 1/400th. I have the camera set for high saturation. Sometimes that is a bit bright, but I think it's alright here.

Do-It-Yourself: A Complete Sonnet In An Afternoon

An experiment involving a 2x Macro Teleplus MC 7 extender interposed between a Nikon D2Xs camera and a 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor AI lens. In focus is 'Penguin Modern Poets No. 10'; out of focus is 'Collins Handy DIY - A Complete A to Z Guide'. I intend to produce a Handy DIY Guide to Writing Poetry some day, with the advice for would-be poets that they should use only woodworking tools to record their words.

Today I successfully weeded a small border with a three pronged hoe. This kind of industry on my part is rare, and so I thought I ought to record it.
