The Perfection of Imperfection


This was going to be an autoportrait but the camera's processor was overwhelmed by the subject's appearance and went on a work-to-rule.
Later the result was drastically cropped and deeply altered for colour and effect in post-processing. Originally, purple had dominated, as it often does when things go wrong. Purple became green. Thus the thing which was imperfect became perfect in an imperfect kind of way.
