Carte Noire

Underneath the plasticised label, the coffee jar was plain glass, yet not very fine and therefore useful for providing distortion effects. I put the label inside the jar and it expanded to fill the space, as thin plastic film is liable to react. To get more colour into the project I positioned the jar in the fork of some branches in a vigourous shrub. That provided plenty of green to bounce around. The unexpected bonus was the range and strength of other colours. It is obviously made more vibrant in processing, and cropped.
