It is an existential leaf, close to despair. Its final place will be as particles nourishing the next generation of leaves. (No, it was not floating, It was stuck fast).

I think I got lucky with this. Some photographs work out how you planned. Many do not, and are deleted. A few - a very few - turn out to be exciting in a way you did not perceive at the time.
