Bide Brook Bridge

The bridge was built in the 18th century; the builder was named Ladd, and thus the bridge is sometimes referred to as 'Ladd's Bridge', although as it spans the Bide, it is known also as 'Bide Brook Bridge' and even as 'Corsham Brook Bridge', 'Corsham Brook' being an alternative name for the watercourse. In 1955/6 the Wiltshire County Council had the bridge widened and christened it 'Lacock Town Bridge'. It is also known as the Packhorse Bridge.
