Claw Hammer

Photographed using a professional 35-70mm f/2.8 AF Nikkor lens on a Nikon D50. Although it’s lightweight and made of plastic, the D50 is quite robust. It remains the only entry-level digital SLR from Nikon equipped with professional features such as an LCD screen on the top plate, and the ability to use the early generation of Nikon AF lenses which are screw-driven by a motor in the camera (i.e. backwards-compatible).
The D50 was available from June, 2005, and was in production for less than 18 months. Its JPG performance is impressive with noise-free, well-saturated photographs even at 1600 ISO.
