No way round....

......unless you have a boat. This is one of the many fences on the north side of the River Tyne, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE England. HFF everyone.

Nearing sunset

If you want to climb this fence you will have to climb a wall and then get through thorny brambles before you start. Not worth the effort - does not seem to be much on the other side! HFF everyone and have a happy and healthy Xmas and New Year.

HFF everyone & A Happy, Healthy New Year

This photo was taken on a very dismal day - there had been a snow fall most of which had melted but there was also ice and many muddy puddles. Did not stay out for long - too cold and damp. We have not had much snow in England, thankfully, but there has been some beautiful sunsets. I am now looking through the window at the sun setting behind bare trees and hoping for a lovely Spring.

An icy path next to a very battered fence. A car was driven through this fence a few weeks ago. I suspect it was stolen - the driver was lucky the car did not fall the 2m drop into the river.
