Bite marks on these...

....seem to be larger than slugs could bite. Still lovely specimens. Approx 8cm in height.

Fungi ......

.........loads of fungi this year. Have not yet got around to ID them - that is if I can. So many are similar and only looking at the spoors will help. I have not yet found any books of spoor identification and also do not have a microscope.

Many of these about

They approx 2cm across the caps and have a grey/blue look. Blue is not a colour that is normal in fungi - here in the UK anyway.

Oysterling & Yellow Disco fungi

The yellow disco are approx 3mm in diameter - gives an idea of the size of the white oysterling above them.

Puffball....

........I think?! This was the largest of many - larger than a tennis ball. The fly was large too - not seen one with legs this long before - approx 4cm in length.
