Heh. The last time I contributed to this series was in late 2020. Going back even further, to 2018... I think that was the last time I used that great-looking knife . The Greek Hellenistic statue is "Old Market Woman" from 11th Century, B.C. (I flipped her around, though.) From a MacMillan Art History book published in 1937. The painting is Henri Matisse's "Brook With Aloes" (1907), photographed in (or around) 1954. Shown smaller than the original completed size of 3600 X 6000 pixels.

Is it still a gallery if it's outside? Well, it is now. :D One day, I have to remember to tell the story of how Herbert Read's A Concise History of Modern Sculpture (1964) helped save me from a blizzard. That's a TON of text! What was I thinking?! The blood red, of course, comes from looking at the news when I really shouldn't.
